"Where does the name Lectrr come from? Does it mean
anything? "

Well actually: it doesn't. Some think it has something to do with Hannibal Lecter, but Lectrr only found out afterwards that name was allready taken.
When Lectrr had the opportunity to publish for the very first time (in 1999, ed.) he needed to come up with a name, because his first name (Steven) was allready taken by another cartoonist.
He just picked the first thing that sounded right, and that was the name Lectrr.

"I want to interview Lectrr for my school paper "

No problem. Just drop us a line at info@lectrr.com, and we'll make sure he gets your questions and answers them in time.

"Can i publish your weekly cartoon on my website "

No. Our weekly cartoons were made for commercial clients, and in order to keep up the good work, we need to have these cartoons available exclusively to them.
These clients pay Lectrr to come up with his silly cartoons, day in day out, so it wouldn't be fair to them if we'd just give away the cartoons to others. Thanks to this approach, Lectrr is able to maintain himself professionally as a cartoonist, and come up with fresh work almost daily.

There's only one legal way to show Lectrr's cartoons to the visitors of your website: give us a visible link to Lectrr.com
That way everybody you know can learn just how funny cartoons can be.

Commercial sites can publish the weekly cartoon. Just mail us at info@lectrr.com to find out about licensing our cartoons for your site.

"Is there a Lectrr-fanclub? "

No, not really. This website is the closest thing to a fanclub.
There's a Lectrr Hate-club though. They call themselves UYAL (United Youth Against Lectrr) and have been online since 2002.
Just Google them up.
